As football is increasingly dominated by money, it is hard to find such characters as 85-year-old Gyula Rákosi, who dedicated 70 years of his life to Ferencvárosi Torna Club. One of the main protagonists of Fradi's greatest success at the 1965 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup victory, the Olympic and European Championship bronze medallist footballer first donned the green and white jersey at a recruitment event in 1952 and has since served FTC as a youth and adult player, then as a coach of the first team and junior team, and finally as a presidential advisor. In this journey through time with exclusive photos, he recalls the best moments of his career and the most difficult times, while we also get to know him as a person, as we travel with him through the poor childhood he broke out of thanks to his spirit and perseverance, and we can experience the pain of losing his wife to suicide, and losing his teammate and best friend, the Ballon d’Or winning player Flórián Albert.
